What a question!

We are Geordie Sport a new look sporting journal for north east people.

This website has been developed by Jim Pearson, ex Newcastle United football player, and Alan Bell, local North East businessman, who are both passionate about the North East and its sporting heritage. This website provides north eastern sporting information for north east people, both at home and abroad. We give you up to date sporting news that you can rely on; our aim is to be 'the Prime Promoters of north east sporting heritage'.

We aim to also provide a forum for you to share your experiences through text and photographs with north-eastern people wherever they may be. Just register with us and send your comments and photos and let everyone know and see your experiences; share you thoughts with north east people! We aim to give you stories and views from famous local sporting sons and daughters of the north east so that you can get an insight of the views of the icons on their sports.

This is a site with a difference. It’s not just a reporting site. It is your site! You interact with us and our local sporting heroes. In fact everything and everyone of north east sport interest will be here with us and that includes you; you are just as important as anyone!
