Durham beat Yorkshire again

Durham beat Yorkshire again, within just over a week.

After beating their near neighbours in an exciting 4 day Championship match at Riverside on May 23rd - 26th to go 2nd in the First Division Championship table, Durham again had a comprehensive victory over Yorkshire at Headingley on Sunday last 3rd June, this time going top of the FPT 50 over league.

Scott Styris was the batting start with 98, caught right on the boundary off the last ball of the innings - ably supported by young wicket keeper Phil Mustard, Yorshire must hate the sight of Durham at the moment!

Victory over Nottingham next Sunday 10th June at Riverside, or Warwickshire on Wednesday 13th June at Edgbaston will see Durham in the Semi-final play off for a Lords Final in this cup competition, where they would get a Semi-final home fixture if they win the North Section against the Southern runners up. Second place would mean an away fixture against the Southern winners.

Exciting times all around for Durham supporters
