Queen's Park 1 Berwick Rangers 0

In a hard-fought match Rangers defended well and, indeed, looked dangerous in their occasional breakaways.

It took the home team until the 70th minute to go ahead with a goal from Ferry and, despite some frantic efforts late in the game, Rangers just could not sneak that elusive equaliser.

So the win lifts Queens into the middle of the table whilst the defeat leaves Rangers firmly at the foot of the league.

Some wins are becoming a "must" now so there will be a bit of pressure in the next home match against Alloa to get three points and start heading up that league.
