Rangers stay firmly entrenched at the bottom of the league, whilst the visitors move to top after their narrow victory.
So if this was top against bottom then there was not a lot between the teams and it could be a tight finish all round at the end of the season. Rangers' downfall was that they have to stick one or two of their chances away. They gave as good as they got for the most part, had a few efforts saved and Scott Gemmill clipped a post. One of these days a few will fly in and confidence will soar.
The only goal of the game was a dubious penalty awarded against Little and slotted home by Barrowman as early as the eighth minute.
Oh how different things could have turned out!
