Boro lose their Spurs!

Middlesbrough 2 Tottenham 3
After showing a bit of form last week, unfortunately 'Boro' got back into their old habits and proceeded to produce another poor home performance.
Credit where it is due, Spurs like to play good football and when you give them as much space as we did here then you are asking for trouble. As early as the twelfth minute Keane was allowed a bit of space and he continued his rich vein of scoring form to put the visitors in front.
The Londoners continued to pass and move in a very attractive manner but it was not until early in the second half that they doubled their lead through Berbatov--what an inspired signing he was--who hit a beautiful volley past Schwarzer.
Middlesbrough did come to life and Viduka (who else?) got a goal back and Robinson was forced into making a couple of good saves.
But it was that man Keane again who put the issue beyond doubt when he knocked home a Lennon cross.
Pogatetz, who had had a tough old day against Berbatov, did get a goal back right at the death but it was never going to be enough and Spurs gained a well-earned three points as they continue their quest for Europe.
As for 'Boro it looks like Magaluf is all they can expect!
