At Last – A Proper Game!!

Well, having gone through the "necessaries" of a couple of games against lower league teams, in this case Hartlepool and Carlisle, now we are looking at "proper" games.

Celtic tonight, who with typical "chip on the shoulder" Jock instincts will be trying desperately to prove that they are not lesser mortals. No doubt, too, they will bring a massive support so this will be like a real game. So it will be interesting to see the starting line-up and, of course the performance under the new manager. Sam has already put a lot into place beside the scenes and we can only hope that this shows on the pitch.

We could really do with a good season after such mediocre stuff of late so here's hoping!

We can't be accused of having an easy pre-season because we also have two home games against top Italian sides, namely Juventus and Sampdoria so this, again, should give us a decent insight as to what we can hope for in the coming season.
