Fantastic Gateshead!

Fantastic results over the past month mean that Gateshead FC have gained promotion to the Blue Square North. Not only is this great for the club, everyone associated with it in terms of players, management, and backroom staff, and its supporters...........but it also means that Blyth Spartans can no longer refer to themselves as the region's "Top Non-League Club" as they did in the article in Geordie Sport on 23rd March.
At that time, the wording was fair.......but...... As from now, they are exactly the same level, because we all start from scratch.
Next season will create its own "top non-league club"!
