It is no secret that Sunderland are interested in the Bolton 'keeper Jussi Jaaskaleinen--I hope that is spelled correctly!--He has given Bolton sterling service and is regarded as one of the top three goalkeepers in The Premiership.
He has a decision to make. Does he stay at Bolton and continue what he has started or does he make a move to another Premiership club like Sunderland, a club on the up and a great place to play your football.
If you believed some of the newspaper reports you could be forgiven for thinking that here we have yet another mercenary looking for 60 grand a week. Nothing could be further from the truth. Here we have a lovely lad whose football comes first and foremost. Yes, he will want a decent contract but nothing like what some people feel obliged to stick in the press.
Let's hope he decides on Wearside!
