Surely this is not what the famed Premier League is all about. The term "best league in the world" is freely banded around. Well not if this is anything to go by!!
Murphy hit the post, Chopra "scored" but was given offside though he may well not have been and Murphy had an effort cleared off the line.
That was Sunderland's lot and Derby were even worse! They scarcely created a chance and are rapidly becoming adrift at the wrong end of the table. Paul Jewell is a cracking lad but he certainly had his work cut out here.
A point for Sunderland is better than nowt and they have crept that little bit closer to Newcastle and the rest but, if this is a further example of their away form then, if they do survive, then it is going to be through picking up further home points.
