Crackerjack!!

For several years I worked on a cruise for P&O two weeks every summer coaching all the kids and the adults on board.
We always got to know the acts who were on board, singers, comedians, etc and one year the comic was Don McClean. Now some of the more mature readers may remember him most famously for being a host on "Crackerjack" the never-to-be-missed Friday tea-time show.
Anyway, it was Friday afternoon and my coaching session with the adults ran from 3.30 to 5.00 and we were just getting ready to finish off when who should walk past but the same Don McClean.
Never wishing to miss an opportunity, I blasted my whistle, told everybody to stand where they were and issued the immortal words, "It's Friday. It's five to five and it's..........." and, to a person. the whole squad and turned towards Don and yelled at the top of their voices, "Crackerjack!!!"
The lads were very impressed how I had sussed this out on the spur of the moment and commended my quick wit and repartee.
No, of course I hadn't set it up with Don beforehand?!
