I am heading through to Liverpool for an Everton "Number 9's Dinner" tonight followed by the derby match tomorrow against Liverpool.
Naturally it is very similar to the Newcastle v Sunderland match, in some ways, believe it or not, even more intense being between two sides from the same city.
A special day.
Even better news is the early kick off which means I can get back to Newcastle in plenty time for the Rugby World Cup Final. England has done incredibly well after an inauspicious start but it is going to be difficult. As a "Jock" I am used to being the underdog so I will be behind England all the way.
