Over the years that I have lived in Newcastle I have got to know the legend himself aka Malcolm McDonald very well and he has been a dream.
When we opened our indoor football centre in Durham, Soccarena, he was straight on the blower asking if there was anything he could do to help. He made several visits and we held one of the Legends T.V. shows in the centre. I see him at most Toon games and we always have a good chat about the game and, say what you like, he always gives an honest opinion and says it as he sees it.
Anyway, I am getting together with Supermac to put on a Q&A session at the Sports Cafe on Grainger Street prior to the Derby County match on Sunday. Why not come along at 12.45ish, have the chance of winning a few prizes, see a proper legend and ask him a few questions.
One thing is certain, he will answer them very, very honestly!
