That Was A Week That Was

I love football and I am sure most of you are the same, but sometimes certain things happen within the game that really make you wonder.

This week alone there have been three separate instances that have placed question marks over the sport.

1. The performance of the referee Mark Clattenberg in the Merseyside derby. Not an easy job being a ref and mistakes will happen but decisions in this game were verging on the ridiculous.

2. Martin Jol loses his job at Tottenham. Bad results, players not performing so maybe it is fair enough. But surely a manager like this deserves respect and not to be treated in such a demeaning way. It was common knowledge that the Tottenham board spoke with another manager several weeks ago. Surely there is a bit more etiquette required.

3. Gary Megson gets the Bolton job. Talk me through that one!!

So questions aplenty have been flung up this week but will there be any answers?!

Any views?
