Falcons - Friday 13th April Team
Newcastle Falcons have made three changes for Friday’s Guinness Premiership clash against Gloucester at Kingston Park (kick-off 8pm), with No.8 Phil Dowson starting his first game for over five months. Dowson returns to the starting XV in place of Brent Wilson after completing 20 minutes in the 16-7 victory over Northampton last Sunday, having been out since the autumn with a ruptured bicep tendon. The only other two changes to the side come at lock where Andy Perry starts in place of calf injury victim Mark Sorenson, and on the wing where John Rudd takes the place of Tom May.
On the bench David Wilson makes a long-awaited return from injury after coming through Development Team action unscathed, as the Falcons aim to extend their unbeaten home run which now extends well beyond the five month mark.
Tickets for the game are still available by calling 0871 226 60 60, or by popping to Kingston Park during office hours and on the night.
