Another luvly fella. He was one of a rare breed where you could mention the words goalkeeper, Scottish and top-class in the same sentence!!
He also has talented kids. Gordon Jr played in goal for Celtic, Kilmarnock, Motherwell and a few others and his younger son Scott made his debut at Arsenal (centre-back) before moving on.
Although he is obviously(?) much older than me, I did play against him in the twilight of his career when I was at St. Johnstone and he was at Arbroath. A game for the connoisseurs I hear you say! Anyway I did score past hgim and we battered them 5-2. So there!
