John's company "New County Roads" sponsor many events especially concerning the former Newcastle players. The former chairman of Hartlepool is great company and enjoys a glass of wine or twelve. Unfortunately after several he tends to insist on giving us his Elvis impersonation...Not a pretty sight!!
I also have it on good authority that he was one of the finest right-footed left back’s in his street. He told me himself so it must be true!!
