Former Newcastle player, Tony Green, only played 40-odd games for the Mags and is a legend.
How good must he have been?!
Well my wife and I have become very friendly with him and his family finding them really nice people and so nice for company.
Recently Tony and his wife came over from his home in Blackpool to stay with us while he had a book signing session at Fenwicks with Malcolm McDonald.
On arriving at Fenwicks, and being very shy by nature (until he has a drink!!) Tony asked one of their staff where he should go for the book signing.
"Just join the queue like everybody else, sir" was the reply!
