Old Newcastle favourite Mickey Quinn is now living down near Newmarket and is training horses -- I only hope he's not the jockey!!
Quinny was always a tad on the large side--we could maybe soften the blow by saying he was a stocky, bustling striker!!
I called him last year and asked what he was up to and he simply told me he was eating. No surprise, I thought. He then went on to tell me he was going to be on Celebrity Fit (or is it Fat??) Club. It’s a programme where celebrities try to lose weight over a period of time. So why was he eating? His logic was that the more weight he could put on, the more he could lose.
So there he was stuffing burger after burger into his gob and, guess what, he only won the contest and is now a famous T.V. celeb!!
